The Nintendo 3DS has had a bit of a rough start in the first few months of its release, but today its value gets a boost.  Netflix subscribers can download a free application from the 3DS eShop and stream movies and TV to their handheld device.  Netflix on the Wii has been wildly popular with 1.5 million daily users, so we expect the 3DS app to see a lot of action.  It’s a shame Netflix just jacked up their subscription prices by making you choose between live streaming or DVDs through the mail (or paying nearly double for both), but this is still positive news for 3DS owners.
