Bryan Cranston definitely knows how to put the butts in the seats. After a record-breaking 2.6 million people watched the season four premiere of AMC's Breaking Bad, the three-time Emmy winner has opted not to star in the highly anticipated Gangster Squad, due to scheduling conflict.

Director Rueben Fleischer gave the bad news during a press junket for his new action-comedy 30 Minutes or Less by saying:

This is a bummer, I don’t think he’s going to be able to be in the movie. He got offered Argo, and we were hoping he would be able to do Argo and then do our film, but it doesn’t look that way. Everybody wants a piece of Bryan now. He’s the belle of the ball.

While it's dope to see Cranston doing so well and becoming the talk of Hollywood, we would rather have seen him acting opposite Sean Penn, Ryan Gosling, Josh Brolin, Anthony Mackie, Michael Peña, Giovanni Ribisi, and Holt McCallany.

The Gangster Squad is schedule for a 2013 release.
