The S2, one of two tablets Sony announced in April, will get distribution in the US via an exclusive deal with AT&T, the network announced. The S2 is distinguished by its unique clamshell form factor, which features two 5.5 inch screens that fold on top of one another.
AT&T says the tab will be 4G and Wifi-enabled and run Android Honeycomb 3.0. Pricing is set to be announced closer to launch date "later this year." No word yet on a US release for the S2's slate-like brother, the S1.
