Live Show Alert: Random Axe Set to Destroy Tonight in Brooklyn

The supergroup comprised of Sean Price, Black Milk, and Guilty Simpson will get real raw.

Tonight at Southpaw in Brooklyn, Random Axe will take the stage, spitting the sort of raw boom bap hip-hop heads have been missing. Detroit producer/emcee Black Milk provides the sample heavy beats that each emcee—Sean Price, Guilty Simpson, and Milk himself—in the supergroup takes a turn destroying. Over chunky drums and enormous bass, the divergent flows of the three emcees find a murderous chemistry together. Check out the video for "The Hex," which paints a picture of what this group is all about. (Hint: they've got a dude tied up in a hotel room, about to enact something in the vein of Meth and Rae's threats on the first Wu-Tang LP.)

Doors for tonight's show open at 8. Black Moon and Skyzoo open things up at this Complex Media sponsored event. Let's get grimy, y'all.
