5. X-Men (iOS and Android)

No, no, this has nothing to do with X-Men: First Class. Konami’s X-Men  is a straight port of their 1992 classic quarter-sucking arcade beat-’em=up. This side-scrolling actioner shows its age with some really bad collision detection (was that even a word 19 years ago?). And don’t expect any 100-hit combos, because each character gets a punch and a special. But if—a big if—you can find four people with iPads or touchscreen cells, the multiplayer can get pretty intense.
VERDICT: So it didn’t age like a fine wine. But hey, you can don Wolverine’s old costume whenever you want for all of $2.99.
