The Fox midseason series Touch has a lot of expectations attached to it already. After all, that's what happens when the star of the show is Kiefer Sutherland in his first post-24 role, and the creator is Heroes' Tim Kring. Well, ratchet those expectations a click higher: Danny Glover is set to co-star.

The Lethal Weapon star has been cast in the show as "a professor and an expert on children who possess special gifts when it comes to numbers." Why is that important? Because Touch centers on a father (Sutherland) who realizes that his autistic son can predict events in the future. If that sounds a little like Knowing, that's because it kinda is.

Expect Touch to keep casting up. It should premiere in the 24 slot in January 2012 if everything goes to plan.
