"Wanted 2" Is Still A Possibility

Most likely without Angelina Jolie, though. Still interested?

None

Were you a fan of the 2008 graphic novel adaptation Wanted? If so, we've got some good and bad news. First, the positive update: the hit flick's director, Timur Bekmambetov, is still interested in making a sequel. Speaking to Latino Review, which caught up with the Bekmambetov on the set of his next project, Abraham Lincoln: Vampire Hunter, he said, "We still talk sometimes about Wanted 2. We want to try and continue that story because it's a very interesting one for us."

Now, for the unfortunate news, and for the reason why Wanted 2 could end up being on the level of our 50 worst movie sequels of all time. Bekmambetov also mentioned that he's uncertain about the return of Angelina Jolie's character, Fox. Which makes sense, considering that she (SPOILER ALERT) took a bullet to the head at the end of Wanted. But when has something like that stopped Hollywood from resurrecting popular characters?
