Someone at Apple—we're guessing Steve Jobs—must really like U2. Not only did the company tap the band to promote its iPod line through a series of commercials, it went as far as giving them their own limited-edition iPod to help promote their "How To Dismantle an Atomic Bomb" album. It opened the door for a number of partnerships with various artists in the future, and also help set the tone of what Apple's iPod commercials would be.
