Even with the massive security issues of late, Sony has confirmed that their powerful NGP handheld is still set to launch in 2011. Now this doesn’t necessarily mean it will release in all regions by the end of this year, but it’s possible we’ll hear more details at E3. Sony also stated that they expect full restoration of the PSN—outside of Japan—by the end of this month. It looks like Sony is finally getting things back on track, though we’ll miss the juicy and drama-filled media frenzies. [via Andriasang]
