President Obama On Osama Bin Laden Raid: "The Longest 40 Minutes Of My Life"

Our Commander-in-Chief gives 60 Minutes a detailed account of the plot to capture the world's most wanted terrorist.

The 44th President of the United States, Barack Obama, sat down with 60 Minute's Steve Kroft to describe the daring nighttime raid on Osama bin Laden's Pakistani compound.

Our heads were glued to the TV screen last night as President Obama elaborated on "the longest 40 minutes of [his] life" and the mood inside the White House's Situation Room. Comparing the event to the "very tense" moment when his daughter Sasha got meningitis when she was three months old, Obama sounded relieved to have the matter over as he again stated, "Justice has been served."

Now that Obama has added Osama to the list of the most memorable manhunt photos ever, hopefully some of his haters will fall back. But of course they won't.
