PlayStation Network Is Up (And Down)

When will the madness end?

None

This weekend the PlayStation Network service was restored for many countries after being offline for almost a month.  Sony promises that it has “made considerable enhancements to the data security” and is bringing back the functionality in phases to ensure a smooth rollout. Shortly after services were restored, however, the network had to be brought down again because Sony was inundated with password reset requests.  Couldn’t see that one coming, eh?  After the queue of millions of password resets are churned through hopefully PSN will be functioning once again and we can begin to put this nightmare behind us.
