Episode 6 of the Mortal Kombat: Legacy web series features the god of thunder himself—no not Thor, the other one—Raiden. Director, Kevin Tancharoen, used poetic license and put his own gritty spin on the MK lore to bring us a compelling story describing the events of Raiden’s visit to Earth to compete in the Mortal Kombat tournament. This is the first of the Legacy episodes that has truly captured the spirit of the Mortal Kombat: Rebirth pilot that got everyone excited about the series to begin with. With only three episodes to go, let’s hope they continue down this darker and more realistic path.
