It's no secret that record companies are trying to find a balance between slumping physical album sales and the ill rise in digital album sales. But while they're busy toiling over that "problem", our dudes over at Modern Shark records have found a dope middle ground. For the release of Junk Science & Scott Thorough's upcoming album, Phoenix Down, the label will be releasing the eight-track set via a sick, limited-edition, soft-rubber USB flash drive.

On the drive buyers will get the full Phoenix Down album, plus all the album's instrumentals, all the a cappella tracks, and a bonus folder of exclusive remixes and other dope goods you won't get from Best Buy.

The limited-edition Phoenix Down flash drive is available now for pre-order from Modern Shark's website for $17 and will ship on May 27. Other rappers and managers, take note.
