Does the end of spring have you dreading the Glee season season finale? Well, don't worry folks, the summer will have you covered. The show's creator, Ryan Murphy, announced that he has partnered with 20th Century Fox to film the cast's North American tour and then flip that into a summer movie that will be released in 3D. And, unfortunately, prominently feature the one aspect of the show that we don't like.

Murphy's intent is to show fans, who can't see any of the live performances, what a Glee show is like. "This tour was all about going out and performing for our amazing fans who have supported our show from the beginning, but due to the limited time we had to travel during our hiatus, there were only so many cities we could get to before we had to resume work on the television series," said Murphy. "We knew that not every fan who wanted to attend a concert would get that opportunity."

The North American tour wraps in June, and the movie has a tentative release date of August 12th.
