EXHIBITTrude Fleischmann - A Self-Assured Eye
WHERE: Wien Museum, Vienna, Austria
WHEN: Until May 29, 2011

Trude Fleischmann, one of the few well-known female photographers of 1920s Europe, often used theater stars, intellectuals, and dancers as subjects for her work. Some of her most well-know inspirations include Karl Kraus and Albert Einstein. Many of Fleischmann's works reflect the mood of Vienna during the early part of the 20th century, particularly as it was expressed towards the roles of women.
