Amazon's Kindle E-Books Are Officially Outselling Print Titles

It's taken four years, but Kindle books are killing print book sales.

None

Jeff Bezos is laughing all the way to the bank. Remember when everyone said the Kindle wouldn't last because no one read anymore and tablets were going to kill 'em dead? Well, it turns out people still do read and tablets haven't been able to completely slow the success of Amazon's e-reader. According to a new report Kindle E-Books are now outselling both paperback and hardcover books

The big story last year was Kindle e-book sales managing to outpace those of hardcover books. Then in January of this year, paperbacks fell victim to the rising success of e-books. Now, Amazon is reporting that its Kindles e-books, now in their fourth year of existence, are now selling more than the paperback and hardcover books combined.

Pour some out for paper.
