On first thought, PowerUp Heroes sounds kind of corny—a bunch of souped-up avatars battling?—but when you factor in the Kinect angle it takes on a new identity. The Ubi title allows players to attack, defend, and counterattack with their bodies and enviroments in the game. Couple that with superpowers, and Ubi just might have a hit on their hands. Even if it does turn out to be corny, the viral videos of fools accidentally smacking each other will be well worth it. PowerUp Heroes hits stores in June.
