The New York Times columnist Andrew Ross Sorkin’s book Too Big to Fail: The Inside Story of How Wall Street and Washington Fought to Save the Financial System—and Themselves has been adapted as a made-for-TV movie, set to air on HBO on May 23. Directed by Curtis Hanson (8 Mile), Too Big To Fail has a pretty solid ensemble cast, including William Hurt (as Henry Paulson), Paul Giamatti (as Ben Bernanke), Edward Asner (as Warren Buffett), Bill Pullman (as Jamie Dimon), and James Woods (as Dick Fuld).

An official trailer made its way online earlier today, and we're impressed.

Although the Wall Street crisis has been covered, fictionalized, and even turned into a Oscar-winning documentary (Inside Job), we’re still game to check out this top-notch group of actors reenact the financial meltdown of 2008 that left our wallets full of lint and unemployed friends sipping on tequila during weekday afternoons.

Consider Too Big To Fail as another reason to point fingers at those smart, greedy bastards working in downtown Manhattan come May 23rd.
