On May 3 the mighty Thor will bolt onto consoles everywhere attempting to do the impossible: having a movie tie-in game that doesn’t suck. A behind-the-scenes trailer debuted at WonderCon this weekend and showed the god of thunder doing what he does best—slamming and hurling lightning bolts at demons and giants. Thor: God of Thunderis actually two different games. One version is for the Xbox 360 and PS3, while the Wii version is a completely separate game that was developed with the motion controller in mind and will include exclusive flying levels. We hope that both the movie and the games are of high caliber and do the Asgardian justice, but we’re fully expecting the reviews to spell out an early Ragnarok. [via Game Trailers]
