7. FRANK "JELLY" NASH (1887-1933)

Calling Card: He had none. However, Nash was known to be quite friendly.
Casualties: Nash shot his accomplice, Nollie “Humpy” Wortman, in the back after they did a job together.
Complex Says: You can’t pick up the tag name of “the most successful bank robber in U.S. history” and not be good at what you do. Frank Nash robbed over 200 banks using various types of methods, from strong-arm robbery to explosives.

What really made Frank Nash most infamous, however, was his downfall. He was killed during the infamous Kansas City Massacre, after his criminal cronies tried to rescue him from law enforcement officers who were transferring him to a prison.
