Seagate yesterday dropped it's all-new GoFlex Slim portable hard drive, and according to the company it's the world's skinniest. Measuring in at 9mm thick, it's certainly one of the thinnest we've come across.

Painted black and squared off, the GoFlex sports an USB 3.0 interface for quick transfers, and flies along at a desktop-like speed of 7,200 rpm. All that speed and slimness comes at a price, though. The 320GB model will run you $100. But if you need to carry around large files and don't want crazy extra bulk, this is the drive for you.

The 320GB GoFlex Slim is available now at the Seagate website and a gang of other electronics retailers.
