The 33 1/3 series pairs a writer with an album for a short study of said album, handsomely published in a slim volume that fits with ease in a coat pocket. Brooklyn's Greenlight Bookstore, one of our favorite independent spots in all of the city, will host the authors of four of the most recent 33 1/3 entries: Daphne Carr on Nine Inch Nail's Pretty Hate Machine, Hank Shteamer on Ween's Chocolate and Cheese, Christopher Weingarten on Public Enemy's It Takes a Nation of Millions to Hold Us Back, and Bryan Charles on Pavement's Wowee Zowee.

The space is small, and past readings have filled up, so get there early.
