WHAT: Dope bathroom

WHERE: Joey Don Mills Restaurant, Toronto

WHEN: Thursday (March 24), 10 p.m.

I’ve been hearing about this bathroom for a while now and finally got to see it for myself. The Dyson airblade hand dryer seems to be the main attraction and the funny urinal etiquette booklet. Ha! I purposely used the Dyson to see what all the fuss was about and now I think I need one for my house. My hands were dry in 3 seconds flat. Joey’s restaurant gets two thumbs up for this one.

WHAT: Chloé Chanel, the Luxury Security Dog

WHERE: Fashionably Yours designer consignment boutique, Toronto

WHEN: Friday (March 25), 7:30 p.m.

I stopped by my friend GetJanet’s consignment boutique on Queen Street called Fashionably Yours and I met her dog Chloé Chanel who probably has a fresher wardrobe than most people. She was all dressed up in Polo and Louis Vuitton. I guess that has to be the uniform when you work in a luxury consignment shop specializing in Hermes, Louis, and Chanel.

WHAT: Crepes de Paris

WHEN: Saturday (March 26), 2 p.m.

When I’m not eating Eggs Benedict, I love to indulge in crepes. I think Parisians make the best crepes! My friend Eva introduced me to this quaint Parisian crepe spot in Yorkville. The presentation of the crepe is a bit unusual but the taste is perfect. They come wrapped up in paper and are presented to you hot or cold. I prefer the hot Nutella and bananas. The workers speak Parisian French and are very kind and friendly.

WHERE: Le Germaine Hotel, Toronto

WHEN: Saturday (March 26), afternoon

There is a fairly new hotel in Toronto called Le Germaine and while I was visiting some friends on the 5th floor I noticed a really cool apple display near the elevators. What a cool perk! They also replace the apples pretty quickly if they are removed. The hotel as a whole looks pretty incredible and is in close proximity to the ACC.

WHAT: The hottest dish I’ve ever eaten

WHERE: Salad King, Toronto

WHEN: Sunday (March 27), afternoon

I love spicy food, so I'm always trying new ways to keep my mouth on fire. My homie DJ P-Plus took me to the new Salad King restaurant to try their spring rolls and Thai dishes. You can decide how spicy you want your meal with the chilis indicator. I asked the waiter how spicy “3 chilis” was and he laughed at me and told me that he eats all his meals with “20 chilis.” I guess I was a bit naïve and I tried the “3 chilis.” The dish was so spicy I was not able to finish it. My West Indian ancestors would laugh at me… We later found out from other waiters that the “20 chilis” kid was a liar; he can’t even try “2 chilis”! So I don’t feel that bad.
