Seemingly possessed by the spirit of Chad Butler, Big K.R.I.T’s latest release Return of 4Eva has received critical acclaim left and right. On April 24, the Hometown Hero will bring his talents to the nation’s capital as part of The Indie Life: Concert Series. His Return of 4Eva Tour wrapped this past weekend, but newly christened CTE affiliate Freddie Gibbs and Smoke DZA will join him once more for his show in the District.

Also on the bill are Muggsy Malone, FSM, and Indie Life mastermind SmCity. Lastly, the show will feature a DJ set by McDonald’s & Complex Flavor Battle participant Jerome Baker III, who will warm the crowd up with a barrage of Southern hip-hop classics. Tickets are $20 at the door and $15 with a student ID, but you can still get pre-sale tickets here. This is one dirty, sweaty night at U Street Music Hall that you’ll want to be a part of. —Julian Kimble
