For the man that wants everything and the kitchen sink, it seems that Jonah Hill has gotten his wish.

ComingSoon has confirmed that Johnny Depp will have a small cameo role in Columbia Pictures' 21 Jump Street. Hill has said that the script includes a "really funny" cameo for Depp, and that he was hopeful that he would do it. Hope fulfilled.

The action-comedy film already has a deep cast intact: alongside HillChanning Tatum, DeRay Davis, Dave Franco, Rob Riggle, Jake Johnson, and Brie Larson are all in tow.

Based on the hit Fox series that aired from 1987 to 1991, and launched Depp's career, Hill and Tatum characters will play two undercover cops who pose as teenagers to stop crime in high schools, in what's described as a movie in the vein of 1995's Bad Boys. Ice Cube is also on board as the police chief, while Franco and Riggle will play the villains, and Larson is the female lead.

21 Jump Street, directed by Phil Lord and Christopher Miller (Cloudy With A Chance Of Meatballs), is scheduled to hit theaters on March 16, 2012. Meanwhile, audiences can see Depp reprise his role of Captain Jack Sparrow, alongside Penélope Cruz and Geoffrey Rush, when Pirates Of The Caribbean: On Stranger Tides premieres on May 20.
