Just buy HBO from your cable provider already. Over the weekend, the network picked up the Armando Iannucci pilot Veep with a series order. If you're wondering why that should get you excited, consider this: Iannucci wrote and directed In the Loop the hilariously foul-mouthed political satire that came out in 2009.

Veep stars Julia Louis Dreyfus as a former senator who loses her innocence upon taking office as vice president. Tony Hale (Arrested Development) and Anna Chlumsky (the girl from My Girl) co-star in what will likely be a funny and subversive political comedy, the likes of which hasn't been seen since... well, In the Loop.
