Kelly Reichardt's been hustling her ass of these past few weeks. Last weekend Museum of the Moving Image dedicated an entire weekend's worth of screenings to her body of work, and this weekend she'll be at Film Forum to introduce her latest film, Meek's Cutoff. Reuniting the director with Wendy and Lucy star Michelle Williams, Meek's Cutoff is a dreamy period piece about a group of lost pioneers.

Frankly, we're glad to see Reichardt grinding it out, making these appearances. She's one of the most exciting contemporary filmmakers, and the more she does to drum up more support and interest for her work, the better.
