We’re not going to front like we know Russian, but we're pretty certain that the dubbed dialogue in this new Russian X-Men: First Class trailer aren't much different from the English version. Plus, if you’re a Marvel fan, the plotline to this origin story should be quite clear: Xavier (James McAvoy) and Magneto (Michael Fassbender) are buddies figuring out the potential of other mutants, but then a crucial battle occurs that creates a permanent rift in their friendship.
Those lucky Russians got the better trailer, it seems; this spot is much more action-packed and presents a better look at director Matthew Vaughn's (Kick-Ass) film as a whole. We’re fed several knockout shots of Beast (Nicholas Hoult) piloting the X-Jet, Banshee (Caleb Landry) breaking glasses with his sonic scream, Mystique (Jennifer Lawrence) looking hella good even with the blue fish gills, and White Queen (January Jones) turning into her diamond state. Despite being lost in translation, we’re feeling ever more thrilled about this franchise reboot—kind of like how we felt when we first saw the trailer for X-Men with Hugh Jackman back in 2000.
June 3rd can't arrive soon enough.
