1. RACHEL MCADAMS AS REGINA GEORGE IN MEAN GIRLS (2004)

Remember those girls in high school who’d never give you the time of day unless you drove a Lexus or bought them an entire rack inside Forever 21? You know, the ones who were even loathed by your much homelier female pals. That’s Regina George to the tee.

The least friendly of all the Mean Girls, Rachel McAdams deserves more than a spanking in then-inconspicuous screenwriter Tina Fey’s witty gem of a teen comedy. Regina’s naughtiest tactic comes in the form of the “Burn Book,” a private diary of sorts in which she jots down every unbecoming rumor and scandalous fact about her female classmates and professors.

On the other hand, though, Regina has a stupendous eye for underlings. The self-appointed leader of the stuck-up clique the Plastics, she recruits a serious trifecta of fineness: Lindsay Lohan, Lacey Chabert, and Amanda Seyfried. Imagine if all leaders could see things so clearly.
