5. KATHERINE ISABELLE AS GINGER FITZGERALD IN GINGER SNAPS (2000)

Admit it: Goth chicks turn you on. It’s OK, because we’re also partial to girls in ripped black stockings, dark eyeliner, and Cannibal Holocaust T-shirts. Which explains why the late Jason Lee’s The Crow get-up is one of our default Halloween costumes—it’s like catnip for Goth women. But that’s a whole other story.

The highly slept-on Canadian horror pic Ginger Snaps features one of the most beautiful Goth chicks ever: Katherine Isabelle’s Ginger Fitzgerald. Dressed in the customary garb, she and her scary-looking friend do sick things like pose as different types of corpses for a school project. Implied necrophilia is bad enough, but then Ginger survives a werewolf attack only to become a full moon animal herself. Fortunately, her lycanthrope manifestation is all hairy creature, with no visual signs of Isabelle’s human looks. Saves us from the icky urges to dream about beastiality.
