Square Enix sent out a brief statement earlier today announcing that untimely passing of action shooter Gun Loco. The game—done in conjunction with Brothersfree—was supposed to be released on Xbox 360, and had been shown at the last Tokyo Game Show. Square Enix gave no reason for the cancellation, though we have to say we're stumped. What problem could someone possibly have with a character in a rabbit mask running around shooting people and hitting them in the nuts? It's what Donnie Darko should've been.
