A time-tested horror formula: make the most familiar places seem terrifying. That's the appeal of the haunted house film in a nutshell. Tonight, 25 cities will be screening Insidious, a film that turns the convention on its head slightly (the house isn't haunted; the child who lives there with his parents is).
From the trailer, Insidious creates mood with baby monitors emitting awful sounds, threatening rocking chairs, and attic intrigue. James Wan, the dude responsible for the first Saw film, helms the project. Below you'll find the list of cities with links to more information regarding tickets and showtimes.
