Rogue Journalist Neil Strauss Reads in Seattle Tuesday (3/22)

A free reading from the man who infiltrated the pick-up artist community and ghostwrote Jenna Jameson's autobiography.

None

That there is a "seduction community" to infiltrate at all says more about the world at large than it does about Neil Strauss. Still, it's moves like that that have given the writer a notorious reputation. From music critic with the New York Times to pick-up artist to porn star ghostwriter to Rolling Stone contributor, this guy's career has certainly skipped in many a weird direction.

Tomorrow at Seattle's University Book Store, Strauss will read from his latest book, Everyone Loves You When You're Dead, a collection of outtakes from celebrity interviews he's conducted over the years. Strauss traded words with Marilyn Manson, Thom Yorke, Michael Stipe, and loads more influential and entertaining artists.

If you're in the audience, be sure to ask him how genuinely lame Mystery is. Have you seen episodes of the The Pick-Up Artist? No chance that dude is anything but.
