The classic clubs of New York—Studio 54, the Limelight, the Palladium—were host to landmark live recordings, epic performances, rampant drug use, and, on occasion, murder. The club scene brought musicians into contact with each other and allowed for the creation of a tight knit artistic community that existed wholly in the earliest hours of the morning.

Michael Alig, Joey Arias, Ladyfag, and Michael Musto round out the panel for "Nightlife: An Oral History of NYC Club Culture," hosted by the Museum of Arts and Design tomorrow night. These experts will each offer their eyewitness take on the craziness housed in those three joints and the way each location affected forever New York's nightlife and music scene.

With all tickets under $10, this is one of the cheapest history lessons you could ask for.
