Sometimes headlines write themselves. This is one of those times. Leslie Bibb—who you might know from Talladega Nights: The Ballad Of Ricky Bobby and brief scenes alongside Robert Downey Jr. in the two Iron Man moviess—has reportedly been cast in the ABC pilot Good Christian Bitches. Yep, for now, that's the title.
The new pilot comes from the mind of Sex and the City creator Darren Starr Based on a book of the same name by Kim Gatlin, the pilot will focus on Bibb's character, a recent divorcee moving back into the neighborhood of suburban housewives in which she grew up. Think Desperate Housewives, but younger, hotter and probably trashier.
If picked up, ABC would likely air the show in the fall, which means you should start plotting out some DVR space right now. At least for the pilot.
