Either Game Change is going to be amazing, or it's going to be the craziest political movie mess since W. HBO has announced that Woody Harrelson will joinJulianne Moore and Ed Harris in the upcoming telefilm.
The Woodster is set to play Steve Schmidt, who was a senior campaign advisor to Sen. John McCain during his presidental run, and was part of the team assigned to building up Sarah Palin. Since the campaign ended, Palin and Schmidt have had fun bashing each other in the press, so expect this role to include lots of shouting.
That would be a change for Harrelson, who has become known as an older (and perhaps better) version of the Matthew McConaughey-like surfer/stoner in the last decade.
