Looks like NCAA Football 12 isn't the only game that EA Sports is allowing fans to choose the cover athlete for. Today the company announced that fans can select the Madden NFL 12 cover athlete in a March Madness-type bracket contest in conjunction with ESPN's Sports Nation, with the winner to be announced on the show on April 27. Phillip Rivers and Aaron Rogers are the No. 1 seeds in the brackets, but there are sleepers like Mike Vick and Andre Johnson who might end up making some noise as well. Personally, we think it'd be ill if the Seahawks 12th man won and some real fans got on the cover. Hopefully whoever wins will permanently break the Madden curse—that is, if we get a real season at all. Check out the brackets and vote here.
