Watching the Watchmen on Madison Ave, NYC (2/10)

We turn our cameras on surveillance cameras and give 'em a taste of their own medicine.

On the corner of Madison Ave and 23rd St sits a Charles Schwab branch. This San Francisco-based brokerage believes in surveillance so much that they've fixed a trinity of cameras on one corner of their pale, minimalist building. Never have we seen such a thorough set-up.

In the past, we've joked about decoy cameras meant to spook would-be misfits. An inside source tells us that, indeed, some business owners never plug in the cameras they carefully place inside and outside their establishments. Listen: there is not a fucking chance that these three are anything other than locked, loaded, and pointed right at your ass. If there exist cameras with deadly lasers built into the apparatus, please believe that Chucky Schwab is up on that.
