Just the other day, we fawned over the notion of Amber Heard becoming a Playboy bunny for the in-development new NBC drama Playboy. Well, good things come to those who wait…for an incredibly long two days.
Deadline reports that not only has Heard officially signed onto the project, but Naturi Naughton has also joined the cast. Anyone who’s seen former 3LW singer Naughton’s clothes-off sex scene in Notorious should particularly enjoy this news.
Heard will play Maureen, still described as a girl with an “untethered sexuality” (score!) who starts working at the infamous Playboy Club in Chicago, circa 1963. Naughton is set to play Brenda, a go-getter focused on becoming the first-ever black Playboy centerfold. Their characters will also be roommates, sharing the same living quarters within the Bunny Dormitory. Oh, to be a fly on that wall…
