Today shall be remembered as a depressing day indeed for the gaming community. Bizarre Creations (known for dope racing games such as Project Gotham Racing 4 and Blur, as well as the beloved Geometry Wars series) has officially had its doors closed by Activision. Troubling economic times and little to no fanfare for its latest releases sealed the deal of doom for the development company. Let's all hope this story plays out on a happier note: another publisher realizes the top-quality games Bizarre Creations is capable of and signs them to their roster of development teams. We're gonna need the Cash Money of video games to give ’em that deal. Ball's in your court, Take-Two!
R.I.P., Bizarre Creations, We Hardly Knew Ye
WHY ACTIVISION? WHY MUST THOU BE SO CRUEL?
