Fresh off of a reunion tour with his former band Faith No More, singer Mike Patton is also reuniting with The Darkness. 2K Games announced today that Patton will return as the voice of The Darkness in The Darkness II later this year. Following the success of the original in 2007, it was a no-brainer to bring Patton back—and considering FNM scrapped plans for a reunion album late last year, he could probably use the paper.

"It feels really good to be the bad guy, and The Darkness is as bad as it gets,” said Patton. “I’ve read through the script, and Jackie is going to be a brutally tortured soul. I’m looking forward to making his life a living hell.” 2K will be showing the game for the first time during the Game Developers Conference in San Francisco, March 2-4.
