In anticipation of Mortal Kombats comeback, Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment (man, we hate typing that out every time) has dropped a new trailer focusing on the history of the original Shaolin monk, Liu Kang. Staying true to the MK legacy of cross marketing—a.k.a., "getting fanboys' cash by any means necessary"—there will also be an album titled Mortal Kombat: Songs Inspired by the Warriors. The album is executive produced by JFK of MSTRKRFT and will be released in April. If you can’t wait until then to get your techno fix, you can download "Liu Kang’s Theme" by Congrock now on iTunes and Amazon. Mortal Kombat hits stores for PS3 and Xbox 360 on April 19.
