Kim Kardashian may be joining a family more infamous than her own. According to MSNBC, the reality star is in talks to play another famed Kim, more specifically Kim Gotti (yes, that Gotti) in a film produced by the the real life son of the mob boss, John Gotti Jr. This wouldn’t be Kim’s first film, but it would certainly be her first memorable one—her past credits include Disaster Movie, a piece of spoof trash that lived up to its name.
John Travolta is signed on to play the "Teflon Don" John Gotti, a role that will undoubtedly boost his street cred, which has been low of late thanks to Hairspray and Scientology. And, according to MTV UK, James Franco might be tapped to play the role of John Gotti Jr.
Though Kim’s camp hasn’t officially released a statement regarding this potential casting, it’s said that she’s definitely the front-runner. Either way, this really couldn’t be a bad thing—either it’s awesome and everybody is left pleasantly stunned, or it sucks and everybody is left pleasantly amused. Everybody wins!
Except maybe Kim, but we’re sure she’d bounce back…
