For the uninitiated, barleywine is a strong ale with a high alcohol content, typically around 8.5 to 12 percent (that's where the name comes from—it's not really wine, it's just as strong as it). Barleywine will knock you on your ass, which is what makes it fun. For the 18th year running, Toronado has hand-picked a menu of fantastic, strong barleywines to get you loaded. And since everybody will be guzzling, nobody will judge your stumbling. Hell, you'll all need each other just to stand up straight when this three day festival comes to a close. It's free to get in, but bring dollars to buy booze and tip.
