Prayers can be answered. Jeri Ryan has confirmed via Twitter that she will reprise her role as Sonya Blade in the upcoming Mortal Kombat digital series: "This evening I head to Vancouver to shoot Mortal Kombat! (NOW it's official)."  The series is set to premiere on April 19, the same day the new game drops. [IGN]

The long rumored remake of Halo: Combat Evolved has been confirmed and will launch this holiday season for the Xbox 360. It's expected to support 1080p resolution and 3D televisions, and the hope is that it will support online co-op action. Do we really have to remake games that are only ten years old? Apparently so.
