At launch, The Daily will benefit from a cache of notable and venerated journalists and producers among its 100 or so employees. These include the pop critic Sasha Frere-Jones (pictured), formally of The New Yorker, Richard Johnson, former Page Six boss, Mike Nizza, formerly of The Atlantic and The New York Times and Greg Clayman, who was previously head of digital distribution at MTV Networks, to name a few. The Daily is also expected to have a robust sports department, which is rumored to feature video content from News Corp's Fox Sports Network.
