Co-host to the 2010 Winter Olympics, Whistler-Blackcomb offers serious vertical (5280 ft.) on both mountains and a November-to-August season (including summer glacier riding). It's also one of the few resorts where hardcore steeps freaks, park rats, pipe jocks, beginners, intermediate groomer losers, and experts can all roll into town together and have a stellar experience. Powder is plentiful and the village offers everything from fine dining to routinely rowdy nightlife, even on weeknights. And, if that famous pow's tracked out (highly possible), Powder Mountain Catboarding's right down the road. Done and done.
