Complex co-sign: A TV show probably shouldn't make us drink and smoke more, but that's the kind of nervous tension/fuck-it-all spirit this biker drama creates. Season three brings out the best in club VP Jax, Charlie Hunnam's tortured character, as he struggles with the kidnapping of his son (and travels to Ireland, dealing with the shady IRA, to find him) and riskily cooperates with the Feds on the low to protect everyone. The best part is that the tension always pays off in stellar, infinitely re-watchable musical montages when it's time to snuff key characters out. If our liver has to take a couple hits for the club, so be it.
