Network: NBC
Stars: Kyle Chandler, Connie Britton, Taylor Kitsch, Jesse Plemons, Aimee Teegarden, Michael B. Jordan, Matt Lauria, Jurnee Smollett, Madison Burge
Complex co-sign: FNL has never been strictly a drama about high school football but rather one that uses the sport to explore larger societal issues. In season four, as Coach Taylor (Chandler) moves to disadvantaged East Dillon High, characters deal with class and race relations, crime, abortion, drug addiction, and the loss of a soldier parent in Iraq—without it feeling like an after-school special. Still one of the most inspiring and moving shows on TV, FNL added some great new cast members (Michael B. Jordan, Jurnee Smollett, Madison Burge) and finished with another winning season in 2010.
