Game Preview: 5 New Things You're Gonna Love About "LEGO Star Wars III"

We consider ourselves hardcore gamers, but that doesn't mean we don't love Traveller's Tales' series of LEGO-adapted titles. Whether it's LEGO Batman, playing as a LEGO Short Round in LEGO Indiana Jones, or Freddie Mercury's insane mustache in LEGO Rock Band, we've had some of our most stoned happiest gaming experiences running around in the worlds fashioned by TT Games. And none so much as the company's crown jewels, the LEGO Star Wars 1 and 2. Something about the mashup of our childhood's greatest movie series and our childhood's greatest toy is sweet high-def nirvana. It was an untoppable game...or so we thought. Fresh off TT Games' announcement that LEGO Star Wars 3 would be coming out on Feburary 15, 2011, we got some hands-on time with the game, and we can safely say that this is one of those titles that'll break down the wall between "hardcore" and "casual" gamers. It's bigger, more ambitious, and potentially better than any LEGO title yet—and we've got 5 things you're gonna love about it.
